Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has been linked with a transfer to Inter Milan. His agent, John Shittu, has revealed the player has also interested clubs in the English Premier League top four, but he will not be leaving.

"There have been interests from Spain, Italy and from within the top four of England," said John Shittu in a television interview.

"But I can tell you categorically that John Obi is going nowhere. He is a Chelsea Football Club player and he will be that for the foreseeable future.

"His concern and that of his management team is for him to keep doing well for Chelsea and see what happens from there. And at this point, he is not going anywhere.

"We're discussing a new contract for him with Chelsea."

Mikel had turned down a chance to feature for champions Manchester United three years ago. After a controversial, protracted transfer, he instead opted to move to Chelsea.

Shittu also disclosed that he is now working with a Nigerian brand management company to make Mikel a big brand, like David Beckham.

"We are working on making him a brand. We want him to be the Beckham of Africa," he said.

"He has the talent as well as the physique of a model. He is also a young man who has many years ahead of him."

Mikel has since he broke into limelight about six years ago has secured several endorsements deals with a mobile telephone company, a top bank and most recently, a phone company.
